Shades Love For Lily Is A Beautiful Thing

*I read a review complaining that this book was nothing but a rehash of The Last Riders series. A lot of it is but it's from Shade's POV and I loved every chapter. If you've read the series, you know we all wanted to know what Shade was doing or thinking during a lot of his downtime, during his waiting on Lily. What he was doing and thinking while helping his brothers with their women. We wanted to see how his mind worked while he manipulated things like votes and markers for Lily. We get that here. This is it. This tells that story and more. This book is not the companion to Shade's Fall from Shades POV. It's Shades POV throughout the entire series. If you liked Shade at all during those books, you will love this one.*

I don't even know where to start with my love for this book. I have bookshelves full of old classic Johanna Lindsey's. Sherrilyn Kenyon's, a Kindle full of Kristen Ashley, Jamie Begley and more. This book solidified Shade as my number one hero, book boyfriend, anti-hero, lover, friend, badass, alpha. Whatever label you want to put on him, Shade is it.
I was so happy to read this book from his POV. He was so heavily played in some of the other books and all we knew was he was a badass sniper with no emotion but his love for Lily and according to Viper, a mean m*therf*cker. He ended up with the biggest heart of all of them while never losing an ounce of his badass persona.
Shades love for Lily was a beautiful thing. I feel so much for this book, I can't put it all into words.
My ONLY issues-
-I want someone to slap the mess out of Bliss. My least favorite character that we're supposed to like.
-I need more Lucky.
-The sex club is my least favorite part of these books because it seems the women all give in to easily. The guy says "wait, watch, you'll like it" and they just do. The sex between the couples is OFF THE CHARTS amazing and I love when they watch each other. As long as I never read (ie) Viper touching Beth, Knox doing Lily or Cash telling Rachel to blow Train, while these couples are in love and married, I'm good. Get the popcorn, sit and watch. Do not touch.

Amazing. Read this book.

When this book was first announced I have to say, I was nervous that it wouldn't be everything that I hoped. But Jamie Begley went above and beyond my expectations! Shade was one of my favorite characters (along with Viper) from the very first book but he was one of those characters that you loved but couldn't connect with. This book allows us to gain that personal connection we have craved throughout the series and to understand and love even more the man who always remained such a mystery. Shade (the book) goes from that first sighting of Lily and we see certain key scenes from the previous books from Shade's view and while some may have an issue with that, I didn't because I always wanted to know Shade's inner thoughts during those scenes. I have to say that if you have not read the previous books that you think about that before reading this book. The scenes with the other women didn't bother me because we still felt Shade's love and devotion and once he committed to finally pursuing Lily nothing could stop him.

Let's give a moment to that epilogue because it was the most beautiful but heartbreaking thing ever written and I LOVED it. Where can I find a Shade in real life?

Things this book cemented for me:
- My obsession with this series
- Shade as one of my all time favorite heroes
- Jamie Begley as one of my favorite authors
- My absolute hate of Bliss (please Literary Gods get rid of her)
- My wish that Train and Killyama become a couple (let us all take a moment and wish for a Last Riders- Biker Bitches book)

Things to consider:
- Who will win the heart of Rider?
- Lucky. Oh Lucky, how I loved you throughout the series but you were knocked off your pedestal in this book. If Willa becomes your love interest I hope you prove yourself worthy in your book because you were kinda a douche in Shade.

Freaking Phenomenal!!!

I just want to clarify before I begin telling you my thoughts on this book by stating that anything I say past this statement will never do this book justice, I truly believe there aren't any words in any language to accurately state how magnificent this book was.

As soon as I got wind that Jamie Begley was coming out with another book featuring Shade and Lilly, with it being in Shade's point of view, having those private moments we didn't get to see in the previous books, and also the continuation of their story after Cash's Fight, I knew that this book would freaking break me. I knew no matter how Jamie did the story I was going to be changed forever, and I was right. As I am writing this review a day after it was released and approximately five minutes after finishing Shade I want to crawl back into its pages and experience it all over again, and I wouldn't even skip the ending that had tears rolling down my face.

I couldn't have asked for a better book. I never imagined that all the questions I had would have been answered, all the mysteries that had some light shed on them, and lastly, but most importantly, a love that would be imprinted onto my heart forever. Out of all the books that I have read Shade has been deemed by me as the 2nd greatest love story I've ever read. I will love and cherish this book.

A couple of things that haven't (or have) changed for me in this series are:
1. I loath Bliss even more
2. Lucky doesn't deserve Willa (this is a new discovery)
3. Killyama is still a much-loved mystery to me
**I promise you these aren't spoilers.

I don't tell people what books they should buy because everyone's different and I don't' feel comfortable doing that. In the case of Shade whether you have read Shade's Fall or the other books in Jamie Begley's Last Riders series give it a serious chance. Don't just put it on your TBR list to collect dust, when you finish the book (s) you are reading now please plan on purchasing this. Yes, its on the expensive side (not too expensive) but for 800+ pages it's well worth the price I promise you that.

All the Shade and Lilly fans out there I'm pretty sure we're all thinking the same thing... “This book has exceeded my expectations by 1,000!”

Whether it's Train's or Lucky's story next I will definitely be reading, nothing could keep me away.

Common Sense Advice for all Instrumental and Voice Teachers

Written by respected music teacher, Paul Harris, The Virtuoso Teacher is an indispensable guide for instrumental and voice teachers wishing to hone their skills and become effective pedagogues. Topics include how to be a master communicator, getting the best out of pupils, dealing with challenging pupils, and asking the right questions. It is written in an easy-to-understand format. Much of the information is common sense, but it is very helpful to have it spelled out as a reminder of what should be done during a lesson.

My personal favorite chapter was the one on asking the right questions. It is important to stimulate pupils' minds and get them to think about the music they are playing. Mr. Harris provides some excellent examples of questions that should be asked.

I highly recommend this book for all music teachers.

While I have not finished the book at this writing, Paul Harris does an excellent job of helping both the new teacher and the seasoned teacher see the importance of various teaching methods. In addition, he stresses the necessity of understanding the entire child/student for success.

Love! Love

Love! Love! Love this book! Andy brought the Comp Plan to life for me thru this Field Guide! I am already returning to different chapters/sections re-reading tips and strategy. Most of all. I love the discussion about learning and teaching others about the product! These wonderful oils are why we're doing this in the first place! Health #1. Abundance #2! And, of course, the prayers that go alongside these oils! This book lays it all out!! Why? Who? When? How? I'd say both of Andy's books are the perfect kicking off point to building a beautiful, abundantly, blessed future!! I'll be purchasing several to share with our team! They will love this easy-to-understand style of explaining the comp plan! Great job, Andy!!

I wish I had this book 6 months ago.

Great book! I wish that I would have read this when my wife started the business...I was like many husband examples in this book..I believed in the Oils and what they could do for our families health, but had no understanding of the compensation and freedom that can come from sharing your passion. Like raising our family, my wife and I are a team, each bringing our own strengths; her's is sharing the oils, and mine is the business side...This book is a great companion for the "Teams" out there in the YL oil business. The concepts are easy and the principals are true...Great Job! This book should be read by every husband who's wife purchases a kit, even if you are not interested in the business!

As much as I loved his first book

As much as I loved his first book, when Andy said he was writing another book just on the “comp plan,” I thought it would be pretty dry and boring material. I should have known better! In the same style that he presented the YLEO opportunity, he has delivered a tremendous amount of information on the compensation plan in a very entertaining manner that keeps you wanting to read more. Far from just boring “how-to” information, this is the nuts & bolts of the business that everyone needs to know, and it's presented in a way that anyone can get it. You'll want your entire team to read this book!
